Section Schedule HIST 223 Russian and Soviet History Course covers history of Russia from the 1800s to the demise of the Soviet Union. Special emphasis is given to such concepts as the political and economic development of the Russian Empire and the U.S.S.R., the role of women in imperial and revolutionary Russia, the Great Reforms, the Russian Revolution, the Stalin Era, and the collapse of the Soviet system.
